I hadn't touched a Bionic Commando in over a decade so I forgot the controls and immediately relearned them. I started playing and to my surprise it made a great first impression to me! The 8-bit/techno soundtrack had a distinct and cool feel. I avoided the 3D action one because it got terrible reviews, and the sequel because it got middling to bad reviews.īut I must have picked it up in a sale or as a free game at some point, because it was in my library.
